CatsThatLookLikeHitler (Kitlers)

CatsThatLookLikeHitler: just what it says … SOMEONE has TOO MUCH FREE TIME!

Does your cat look like Adolf Hitler? Do you wake up in a cold sweat every night wondering if he’s going to up and invade Poland? Does he keep putting his right paw in the air while making a noise that sounds suspiciously like “Sieg Miaow”? If so, this is the website for you.

American Democracy Institute: “Join the Conversation”

American Democracy Institute: “Join the Conversation”.

The American Democracy Institute is a new kind of progressive think tank. We think it’s what’s right – not who’s right – that matters.

[Note by blogger (me): if they're REAL and non-partisan this could be very interesting. IMHO we're all SICK of partisanship]

[Note2: wellll this'll bear watching. One of the Board of Directors is the former finance chair for the DNC, so it'll be interesting to see if any conservative-labelled ideas are presented.]

DeVeDe: DVD production under LINUX

DeVeDe: DVD production under LINUX. DeVeDe is a program to create video DVDs and CDs (VCD, sVCD or CVD), suitables for home players, from any number of video files, in any of the formats supported by Mplayer. The big advantage over other utilites is that it only needs Mplayer, Mencoder, DVDAuthor, VCDImager and MKisofs (well, and Python 2.4, PyGTK and PyGlade), so its dependencies are really small.
